THE ACT OF CARING STORY

Let's change the scenery

It all started with a question - How can we contribute to change and a more sustainable world? A world where small everyday actions become part of something bigger.

Act of Caring was founded by Linda Bradley, Ola Gejde, and Camilla Strange. Since 2010, the founders had run a boutique consulting firm called Diamon, which supported many Scandinavian lifestyle and skincare brands in their international growth.

After 10 years in the industry, the trio decided to launch their own brand, based on their experiences and with a dedicated interest in interior design and caring for their own items and furniture.

In 2020, Act of Caring was launched to help people experience a more joyful way of caring for the things they love. The products are manufactured in a green factory in Sweden, with plant-based ingredients and scents, and strive to use packaging with minimal environmental impact.

Act of Caring wants to encourage you to be a part of their world and find joy in nurturing and caring for what you already have.

OUR INGREDIENTS

We only use natural, vegan and biodegradable ingredients that are sourced locally whenever possible to limit the CO2 impact due to long-distance transport.

Only the kindest non-toxic preservatives are used, always of natural origin and we refrain from using harsh chemicals that would harm the environment and our body.

OUR SCENTS

Act of Caring's formulas are fragranced exclusively with the highest quality pure essential oils.

The reason is twofold: each essential oil contributes to the product's effectiveness, and the delightful scents will inspire care and provide a more pleasant experience.

We have a fantastic concept called "care bars". An event for the care of leather, marble, wood, textiles, and silver, which can be an excellent way to engage customers and educate them on how to best take care of their valuable possessions.

Here, for example, we demonstrate how to clean and care for leather bags, shoes, and furniture. We show how to remove stains and protect marble surfaces in kitchens and bathrooms, teach techniques for polishing and protecting wooden furniture and floors, stain removal and refreshing textiles, and show how to clean and polish silver cutlery, jewelry, and metal ornaments.

You can bring your own items that you want to "take care of" and try it out yourself directly on site.

By organizing "care bar" events, you not only create an educational and engaging opportunity for your customers but also a chance to build stronger customer relationships and promote product sales.
