Simple routine
Step 1 – Clean the marble surface
For daily cleaning – Spray Restoring Marble Cleanser directly onto the surface and wipe with a damp cloth. You can advantageously use our linen cloth, but any other cloth you have at home will work fine. Be sure to wipe the countertop completely dry after cleaning.
Step 2 – Wax and polish the marble surface
Apply marble wax in circles over the entire surface using the included sponge. Once the surface is completely covered with wax, wipe off the wax and polish with a dry, soft cloth. The wax provides good protection and makes the surface more resistant to stains from various liquids.
Always read the usage recommendations carefully before use. We strongly recommend that you first test the product on a small, hidden area before full application.
Maintenance tips for marble and other porous stone surfaces
Marble is porous and an absorbent stone. This makes it more vulnerable to staining from harsh cleaning products and spills.
Always use coasters and cutting boards and wipe up any spills immediately.
Avoid coffee and acidic liquids on marble, such as vinegar, tomato, and citrus fruits like lemons, limes, and oranges, as well as wine and carbonated drinks. These liquids corrode your marble and can contribute to stains and damage your marble slab.
Always use a pH-neutral marble cleaner on your marble to prevent discolouration. Harsh detergents will cause the surface to become rough and make it a magnet for dirt, which will begin to accumulate in the pores of the stone and stain the surface.
Regularly impregnate the surface with marble wax to effectively protect it against unwanted water, as well as grease and oil-based stains and dirt.
