How to clean and care for wooden furniture and objects

Did you know that sunlight and low humidity can dry out a wooden surface? Maintaining and caring for your wooden items is surely a task, but an extremely rewarding one. We have developed this easy care routine to help.

A simple Wood Care Routine on how to clean and care for wooden objects and material.

Step 1 – Clean the surface
Use our Reviving Wood Cleanser daily to remove any dust, crumbs, grime, and any sticky spots that may have built up. Spray directly on your table or other wooden surface and wipe with a damp cloth. Use our Mixed-linen Cloth or any other soft linen or cotton cloth you might have available at home. Let dry.

Step 2 – Seal and polish
Apply our Nourishing Wood Oil, gentle enough for regular use, with a sponge or dry cloth and distribute it in circles over the entire piece. Once the wooden piece is covered with oil, wipe off the excess and polish it using a clean, dry and soft cloth. Our oil contains only natural ingredients and will preserve your piece by deeply penetrating the wood. It will nourish and protect the surface from water.

The wood oil can be used on all kinds of wood surfaces that have previously been treated with oil. But do not use it on hard-waxed surfaces. Always test the oil on a small area before applying it to the entire piece.
